- I am a rubber stamp artist and scrapbooker. And a mad keen Copic Marker colourer too! I've been stamping for more than 30 years and have taken up scrapping in the past 12 or so. I've particularly enjoyed digital scrapping too. Both crafts are very interchangeable so I find it very interesting how Scrappers have embraced stamping. There's so much more to stamping than just making cards, isn't there fellow stamping friends? I live in the north west of Sydney, Australia, married 23 years in 2013 and have one 21yr old son. I've also been connected to the Net since 1995, so a lot has changed since I got my first computer. I no longer manage any web sites, just this blog and a couple of Facebook pages. And of course frequent friendly forums.

Oh heavens Wirg....I have no idea what a Schmincke is!!! But I will have a little guess....why not...can only embarrass myself a bit hehehehe....it is the type of media that you have stamped the face on....mmmm

He he he, Schmincke is a beautiful fine metallic powder not unlike pearlex but much much more metallic and dense. You can brush it over versamark inked images and it clings to it. You can add water to it and it becomes a like a paint. You can add it to paints to make them metallic too. On this card, I stamped the black card with versamark and a flourish stamp then brushed on the silver schmincke. I noticed years ago a lot of the arty farty type stampers/off the page type creators started using it too. It's made in Germany.
Oh...what a great product Wirg.....I better get some & become arty farty too!
